Spring
2009 Curling League
The
schedule has been set for our next league season, starting in January and
optimistically titled the "Spring" season. As with all our leagues,
players of all skill levels are welcome to join. We have a mix of experienced
curlers and raw beginners in our club, as well as players of all ages.
We
will start things off with a
learn to curl clinic on 1/10 - this will be open to anyone who
wants to try the sport and new players are welcome to sign up for the league at
the clinic. There will also be room for experienced league players to get in
some extra practice or a pickup game.

interested in playing or being added to the sub list (we are always looking for
subs!). Please include your preferred contact information and your curling
skill level.
Players
can enter as part of a team or as an individual (we'll find a team for you).
There are four players on a team, but teams are welcome to carry more than four
players and rotate who plays.
The
club provides necessary equipment for both the learn to curl clinic and the
league. Players need only to dress in moderately warm, flexible clothing, and
have a clean pair of shoes to wear. Soft soles are better for gripping the ice.
Cost
for the learn to curl clinic is $20. The fee for the 8 game league is $150 per
player, or a team fee of $600 (useful if you want to rotate more than 4 players
through your roster).
