Conducted by United States Curling Association certified instructors, this class is intended for people who have never curled before and want to learn the basics of the game. It is also beneficial for people who haven’t curled in a very long time who would like a refresher course.
Topics of instruction include ice safety, delivery and sweeping. There will also be time for a fun practice game!
Learn-to-Curl classes are held at the Iceoplex in Escondido and all equipment is provided by Curl San Diego.
You are required to wear clean, closed-toe shoes with soft soles (tennis shoes are usually good) and encouraged to wear comfortable, layered, semi-warm clothing.
Space is limited so we urge you to pre-register online. We cannot guarantee participation to drop-ins.
